Meet our members

The Postdoc Office takes care of all things related to postdocs and is the first point of contact for postdocs at ISTA. It is part of the administrative division of Postdoc & Faculty Affairs (PFA) led by Verena Seiboth.

The Postdoctoral Office (PDO) supports all matters of
Postdocs, Visiting Scientists and Academic Visitors who hold a PhD degree.

• Coordination of your onboarding
• Management of most administrative and contractual matters during course of your stay at ISTA in liaison with Faculty, A2P’s, HR and Senior Management
• In particular: Contract extensions
• Advice on internal policies
• Program management of fellowships dedicated to postdocs (i.e. IST-Bridge, NOMIS etc.)
• Career Services: inform, advise, and support on career matters.

Boris Cesnik and Glen Dalton support you in everything related administrative and contractual matters.

Daniela Klammer works with postdocs to support their career development, be it in academia or beyond.
