The Institute recognizes that business travel is part of the job for many of us, be it scientists or administrative staff. For those of us with childcare responsibilities, such work-related travels can cause an additional financial burden for instance due to the need for alternative childcare arrangements.
The ISTA Caretaker Fund is aimed at removing travel-related financial barriers that would affect the ability of those employees with childcare responsibilities to travel professionally.
